No Need to Look Over my Shoulder... by PGornell

Not only is it just a very pleasing and well composed shot, it also brings to mind one of life's lessons. That lesson being "You can't know where you are going until you know where you've been"
The hills valleys and life's curves in the rear view mirror and smooth traveling out in front.

I've always liked this photo since it first appeared in The Pinnacle and I'm pleased to have the chance to give Paul the nomination to the Pinnacle blog and to actually express to him just how his wonderful photograph has touched me

"This shot of a little baboon is one of the cutest wildlife shots I've ever seen. The dof is perfect as is the comp, color and clarity. Not to mention that baby baboon is so adorable in the position he choose. Great job Lynne! And take many more. :)"

"I've never quite understood how you process your shots, but have always been a huge fan of the way your images end up. The car in this shot reminds me of the movie "CARS" where the cars all have personalities, somehow the processing cartoonifies it, which I think is pretty awesome, the way the car is popped up off the back wheel and appears to be bouncing. The Morgan Stanley and Starbucks logos in the back, the 585 BWay add an obvious element of location to the shot, and the driver was caught in a great moment. The diagonal lines add a great element. So much to see here and comment on."

"I've looked at so many deserving shots that are great. I love so many of the Pinnacle HOF winners, but sadly am only allowed to pick one for my nomination to the BLOG. One that I have loved since the first time I saw it is Dog Ma's Black Lab shot. I love the dog's expression and the lighting of this shot.
