"I'd like to nominate one of my favourite Flickr photographers, Dialed-In! to the blog. I usually get a sore neck just looking at his photographs so I'd hate to see the state of his neck with all those neck-breaker shots he takes. Love his urban landscapes showing not only buildings and architecture, but lots of repetition shots, graffitti and of course his macros. But this image stands out as one of his best with its great perspective, foreground detail and vanishing point that seems to blend the trains with the tracks. Great work Jonathan."
For those of you who think Jody (dog ma) does only pets (dogs) and flowers, I have news for you. This girl is amazing at whatever she chooses to do. She can do the most amazing HDR and black and whites. I nominate this b&w from Jody because: 1) it has perfect framing 2) perfect exposure 3) amazing details and depth
It reminds me of vintage Jody and how I long to see more of her work in diverse areas as these!
The ambiance, the capture of the ray of light, the golden clouds and the misty valley; and the cattle in the foreground - all add to create a great mood!
"As much as I enjoy the look of serenity on the subjects face what sets this photo off for me is the trace of a smile on the young lady in the back ground. Almost mischievous like you know she wants to crack a joke or something. The human condition "
Nominated by dog ma I absolutely LOVE this shot!! The light is pure heaven as is the beautiful scenery!!!! I would kill for a landscape like this. ;)) The red barn and house add dimension and beauty. Really an amazing shot! Congrats!
